Last night, the wonderful Cait (CaitPlusAte) tagged me in her 7 Random Facts post. Not only was I honored because Cait herself tagged me, but I was also very excited! I personally love it when bloggers tell their readers random things they normally wouldn’t on a daily basis. It adds a nice, personal touch and makes them more “real” and relatable to their readers. I am happy to jump on the band wagon!
7 Random Facts
1.) I have an impressive scarf collection. Some might call it an obsessive collection, considering my designated scarf box is literally overflowing. I prefer to call them “necessary accessories.”
My favorite of all said scarves is the one on the top left. I love the modern feel!

2.) I have two laughs. One is when something is funny but not keel-over-and-die-laughing funny. In this case, my laugh sounds like your typical “ha ha.” However, when I laugh really hard, my laugh transforms from “ha ha” to an uncontrollable chain of high-pitched “hee hee”s. It sounds ridiculous and, I must admit, it’s pretty awesome. Sometimes, I can’t stop laughing because I know just how ridiculous I sound.
3.) My very favorite scent is Sensual Amber from Bath & Body Works. While I do not consider myself particularly sensual in nature and do not have amber hair, this scent is still perfect in every way. Also, every time I wear it, some man tells me I smell good. This is strange because I’ve found that most men detest the smell of perfume. Regardless, it’s a winner!

4.) I have never been out of the United States. This one bums me out a little but also excites me because when I do so, I know that I will have so much appreciation and gratitude for experiencing a different land and culture. Also, as a side note, my honeymoon will be BOMB and will absolutely take place in Santorini, Greece. It has been a long-time dream of mine to vacation there.

5.) I have a huge girl crush on Sara Bareilles for reasons because of, but not limited to, this. I remember the first time I watched that video. It was about two days after being posted, it was snowing, and I was cooped up in a ball on top of my bed in my dorm room hysterically laughing all by my lonesome. Anyways, I love her. Hence why I sing her songs in public.

6.) At a recent event that I was performing at, someone yelled “Eat a steak!” to me after I finished singing/playing piano. The old, ED-stricken Heather would have taken it to heart and most likely, would have broken down. The new Heather laughed and said, “No thank you. I’ll take an avocado, please!” I was proud, the man was puzzled, and the crowd laughed. Win.
7.) I DESPISE feet. Everything about them grosses me out. The human body is stunning. Why do feet have to be so unattractive? Ew. One time, Matty tried to tickle my feet after I told him not to and I ended up kicking him in the head by accident.

1. I LOVE THAT SCARF. And the red cup is never optional. I have so many scarves too! They are so amazing for transforming an outfit.
2. I have two laughs too, my “lol that is pretty funny” laugh and my “OMG I’M DYING” laugh in which I laugh so hard that no sound comes out!
4. I have only been to Mexico/Canada, never overseas, but my #1 destination is also Greece!!
6. I cannot stand people telling me I’m too skinny. This one co-worker put a chocolate on my desk around Christmas and said “bulk up, eat it!” No thanks, I’d rather eat something that doesn’t make me crash at 2pm on my workday. Ugh. Commenting on someone’s body is not good whether you call them fat or thin.

I have so many random facts, but if it had to be one – I cannot sleep without socks on even in the heat of summer! The feel of sheets is just like fingernails scratching on a blackboard. A little odd maybe?
