It’s a Tuesday like a Monday. This is especially evident because I keep having to remind myself what day it is. As a result, I’m a little discombobulated (that word looks so funny spelled out). Anywho, let’s move onto the day!
Workout
I had to work bright and early and wanted to sleep in a little, so I kept my workout quick and effective. It’s all about the balance right?
I started with the HIIT the Beach routine from the Tone It Up Beach Babe DVD and followed it up with a new ab circuit.
Three rounds took me just over 15 minutes to complete. My abs were quite sore by the end of it, too! All in all, a successful workout!
Breakfast
It has been awhile since I posted my breakfast; the reason being that I literally have chocolate protein pudding oats every single day. Sorry I’m not sorry. Today’s bowl was just as delicious as the last and was served with fresh strawberries and blueberries.

I’ve found that I can’t eat much more than a 1/2 cup of berries before feeling like a balloon inflated in my stomach. Water + fiber = full tummy. Anyone else share this issue?
Lunch
I worked my retail job until 2:00 p.m. today and spent the majority of the time organizing our marketing section in the back room. While I like helping customers, it was a nice little change of pace to be able to put some music on in the stockroom and organize the disasterous signs that were strewn all over the place. It’s getting there!
Around noon, I took out my lunch to munch on while I organized. I was on a role and didn’t really feel like stopping.
I ate a beautiful salad: kale, shredded carrot, and leftover THRIVE almond-flaxseed burgers topped with a combination of Annie’s Goddess dressing and nutritional yeast. I also munched on an unpictured apple. It was heavenly, and I cherished every last bite.
Spencer’s Market
There is a little, hidden vegetarian/vegan gem that I want to share with you today! Have you heard of Spencer’s Market?
I’ve been a Spencer’s Market member since they hit the webisphere this November – and it is truly fantastic! Spencer’s Market is an online haven for compassionate consumers and foodies alike. After registering, you can customize offers you would like to receive based on your dietary preferences and/or food intolerances. Each week, Spencer’s Market shoots you emails with amazing deals on a new food products that appeal to you, based on your selected preferences.
The minute I receive their email, my mouth is always watering and my debit card is almost always in-hand to make a purchase! Their offers come from small-batch producers, so they do not last long. This is one of my favorite features about the company; but that means you have to hurry up and purchase if you’re interested! Last week’s offer was a sampler of Living Intentions’ Gone Nuts! packages. I decided to wait until the next day. Big mistake – they were already sold out! Womp womp.

Kale chips, coconut oil, “indie” vegan nut cheese? Yep. And all for insanely good bargains! In short, I’m obsessed. Have you hopped on the Spencer’s Market train yet?
Disclaimer: I was not contacted by Spencer’s Market. Just felt like spreading some vegan-friendly love!
Okay, I’m off to my round two of my job interview and then to see Lindsay Buckingham (again!) with my Dad. Please holler if you’re a fellow Fleetwood Mac fan! TUSK!
Stay lovely,
Heather

All the more reason we NEED to hang out. He. Is. Amazing.
Yes babe I share the berry issue! Last night I added berries to my Greek yogurt + Fiber One brownie mix. It made me feel SO much more full about halfway through my snack than I usually do. I didn’t end up finishing the berries – but I did get every last morsel of yogurt and brownie, obviously.
I loved working in the back at my retail job – and even at my food service job, when I did dishes. Jamming to music while at work is the best, especially when no one else is around and I can sing!
The only Fleetwood Mac songs I’ve heard are Landslide and The Chain. The first makes me a bit too sleepy haha but the second is awesome!
