When I decided to choose recovery, I decided to choose love. It was really hard because I had made my body to be an object of destruction via overexercising and under eating. Recovery was difficult because I had to train my brain to view my body as a vessel of love instead of an object to destroy. I went from destroying and destructing my body to thriving and constructing a new perspective. The road was not perfect. There were lots of bumps and missteps. I had to practice a lot of self-forgiveness when I treated my body in a “destructive” way instead of a “constructive” way.
Now, it feels so freakin’ awesome to tell you that I only choose to practice a constructive way of treating my body. This past year, I’ve also started to see the body in a totally different light than I ever did before. There is a passage from A Course in Miracles that really drove this point home and I’m so excited to share it with you! Watch on and love that bod pod!
Mirror Affirmation
My body is a temple and my soul is the altar.
My body is a container of love.
I love my body because of the space it holds for my love.
Stay lovely,
Heather

so glad this passage is being shared with all of us as well as the associated mirror affirmation – which i can see doing wonders for me. love picturing my body as a vessel that holds the love that makes me ME.
Thanks for the push to create it, BB! I love you.
This really did resonate with me. I needed this today. Thank you, Heather.
I am going to begin reading ACIM very soon. (It’s downloaded to my Kindle! Woah, technology, eh?)
P.S. I haven’t taken my tree down yet either!
You are more-than welcome, Kirsten. If you need any ACIM love, you know where to find me! P.S. – So glad I’m not the only one in denial here. Hahaha!
Heather,
My tree just came down yesterday. Can’t say goodbye to the holidays too! Thanks for this vlog.
P.S. I sent you an email. I’m finally introducing myself after visiting your blog since August. Can’t wait for your reply.

Aww, Heidi! You’re so sweet. Pumped to know that I’m not the only one in denial here.
I’ll be responding to your email in the next couple of days! xo
This is incredible! I was in a very similar place with the overexercising and undereating. It’s a dangerous spiral and I’m so glad you’ve gotten yourself out of it! While I’m definitely on my way out, you’re an inspiration to push that last little bit before I can consider myself fully recovered. Thanks for posting this, girl
So proud of you, Sarah! Keep trading in your fear for love! xoxo <3
Just subscribed, really excited
Also, since I “met” you & was introduced to Gabby, the miracles are already happening! I swear, the meditation and shift in mindset is so, so POWERFUL!

This makes MY day, Linz. Thank you, my awesome friend! Love you. <3
My tree is still up, decorated, and lit every night. I’m not ashamed. I’m moving in a couple of weeks and I wouldn’t be surprised if it stayed up.
I LOVE your blogs, and when you e-mailed me that I had all of the tools inside of me already…I loved it. Spiritgasm, for sure. This is definitely the most powerful sentiment that I’ve learned.

This vlog totally resonates with me! God definitely keeps reminding me that my body is a temple…it’s been in my reading, my thoughts, and now in your vlog! I’ve been working to embrace this concept and let it really absorb. Thanks for the reminder that it all starts on the inside!
It took me awhile to get around to watching this video but I am so happy I finally made time to watch. Words of wisdom!
Yay!! So glad you did, chica!! xo
