Before we get to more goodies, let’s kick off this post with some highlights from “M” day!
Jessica (@jessicalynne118) made a gorgeous mango & melon almond milkshake!
“M is for mango & melon almond milkshake! I used mangoes, melon, strawberries, a handful of baby spinach, almond milk, soy protein powder and a few ice cubes in this delicious smoothie! Looks do not do it justice!”
Kieran (Three cheers for a MALE #plantPOWER challenger!
) enjoyed Moroccan stew at a local restaurant.
Kieran’s blog is amazing and filled with incredible #plantPOWER recipes! Make sure you check him out and follow him on Instagram!

In honor of Valentine’s Day, what do you say we appreciate all the abundance in our lives. Have you ever noticed that that word “dance” is in the word abundance?
Today is V-Day, a day encouraging people (especially women) all over the world to rise up and dance for their freedom in the name of love. It is a global movement to end violence against women and girls.
Yesterday, I chatted with Gabrielle Bernstein on her HayHouse radio show. I asked Gabby what to do with all this loving energy I had inside of me. I feel incredible, but also a little overwhelmed from all this love, and I wasn’t sure what to do with all of it. She told me to sit in silence and imagine my self surrounded by beautiful golden light, and visualize is literally grounding me. Then, she told me to feel my hands and rub them together, to rub my feet together, and then…told me to dance in honor of #1billionrising.
She said that I was most likely psychically feeling the loving energy around #1billionrising because my heart is cracked open. This made perfect sense to me, because I’m nearing the end of my May Cause Miracles journey and I do feel 100 percent cracked open and ready to receive whatever the Universe has for me.
Today, I encourage you to stand up and dance. Embrace abundance. Become abundance. And dance. Not just for yourself – but for woman who can’t.

N is for…NRG MATRIX!

I’m not an energy drink kind of girl – never was. I get my bod moving on an empty stomach first thing in the morning (doing any form of exercise with food in my belly makes me want to hurl) and always feel energized. This is what works for me and it may very well work for you too – or maybe you need some breakfast before your workout. That’s fine! As my girl Kasey says, #beTRUEtoYOU!
Now, I’m going to totally contradict myself. And I’m totally okay with it. I blame the NRG Matrix team for making such a rockin’ product. ![]()
For those of you that are not familiar with NRG Matrix, it is actually a raw, organic energy drink made from mushrooms. Yep, mushrooms. Don’t be deceived by the modernized packaging. This stuff is the real deal, my friends. I will totally admit that I pre-judged this product. Kasey told me to check it out and, at first glance, I thought, “Ya, ya, ya, I have energy for dayyys. I don’t need this supplement stuff.” Forgive me, NRG Matrix. I was wrong and judgmental. Tisk tisk! And, for the record, this is not a supplement. It is a whole foods-derived energy drink!
What I love the most about NRG Matrix is the fact that it provides an affordable alternative to Red Bull, Monster, and all those other energy drinks that have been proven to have long-term negative effects on our bodies. NRG Matrix was created by a team of healthcare professionals and scientists seeking to create an honest, compassionate #plantPOWERed product that gives us long-lasting energy. Um, yes please.
The primary ingredient in NRG Matrix is medicinal mushrooms, which contain a key ingredient called cordyceps that has been scientifically proven to enhance exercise performance. Cordyceps does this by increasing the amount of oxygen delivered to our bodies and enhancing the production of ATP, a co-enzyme in our bodies that is responsible for energy transfer. Here’s what the ingredient list looks like:
- Organic Medicinal Mushrooms grown in San Marcos, California (for lasting energy)
- Organic Extracts – Yerba Mate, Guarana, American Ginseng, Tumeric Root (for improved immune function)
- Vitamin Blend – Vitamin C, Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12, Vitamin D (derived from the Medicinal mushrooms!)
- Organic Stevia, Monkfruit
Impressive, huh? I love how every ingredient has a purpose. The monkfruit and stevia give NRG Matrix a delicious, mild citrus flavor.
I can really attest to the product. I drink it before and during my morning barre, pilates/lightweight strength training workouts. On the days that I drink NRG Matrix during my toning routines, I definitely notice a difference in my energy levels. I literally feel like I could go for hours! When I don’t drink NRG Matrix and just drink water, after about an hour, I’m ready to call it quits. Like I said, it’s the real deal and I would absolutely recommend it to everyone!
NRG Matrix is a powder that comes in a convenient pouch. I simply pour the packet into my Camelbak before filling it up with water and some ice cubes. After a generous shake, you’re good to go!
So, what do you think? Would you like some NRG Matrix?! Head over to Kasey’s blog for ALL the giveaway details!
Stay lovely,
Heather
