Hi I just wanted to say I love your blog! I’m trying to get into shape for prom and decided I want to go vegan. Do you have any suggestions?

      Hi Dev!

I’m so happy you love the blog and that you’re considering going vegan! I would start small and make one of your meals vegan every day. For example, you could have a piece of toast w/ nut butter & a banana for breakfast or for lunch, you could have a big salad with a Tone It Up black bean burger. Dinner could be sauteed tofu with veggies. You can always go to m recipage too! All of them are super easy and delicious. :-)

Silly question, but what Earth Balance did you use? Is it soy milk, or almond milk? I know they have a bunch of different products, so I was wondering which one you used :P

I am not a vegan, but I have reduced the amount of meat I eat for health reasons and these recipes are amazing. I have been using these for the past week and I cannot recall eating meat at all because I enjoyed these foods so much more. My personal favorite dish was the plantPOWER pinot bean bowl.

I love you blog and find it enjoyable to read. While l thought this recipe was a killer, l also was left buffled as why you would use powdered peanut butter. The amount of processing nuts go through to extact peanut oil, all you are left with is this hadrly nutritionous residue which is furher processed to preserve it. I for one think that us far from plant based whole food diet protocol. I do understand you would want to use fat free…but really the fats in peanuts which are rather good are they worth swaping for the peocessed powdered once was peanut butter. I am a nutritionist myself and just thought maybe this was not the best choice for our bodies, or the best substitute for real good old natural PB.It contracdict the what l have learnt from your blog so far. Why would anyone want to avoid peanut butter, for powdered ,unless they dont want to have the fats. I didnt think this blog was about that.

      Hi Lolo,

Thank you for your comment. This blog is not just about enjoying plant-based whole foods. It is also about self-love. Part of that self-love, for me, is not restricting myself from foods (processed or not) that I enjoy. Powdered peanut butter happens to be one of them. I love being able to make the powdered PB what I want and I like the texture better than regular nut butter. It’s not a matter of choosing a low fat option. I love healthy fats and eat them plentifully. It’s all about balance and powdered PB is part of mine. Bless you, sister.
